1. Venue & 999 address

Westleigh Park stadium, Martin Road, Havant, PO9 5TH.

2. In an emergency — three roles, assign every session

  • Person 2 runs for the nearest defibrillator (locations below).
  • Person 3 goes to the Martin Road car park entrance to flag the ambulance in and open gates.

Named first aider tonight:

3. Defibrillators

  • Defib 1 (primary): The Westleigh pub, attached to the ground — on the wall by the bar. Open until 11pm on Mondays, so it covers the full session.
  • Defib 2 (backup): Directors room — ground staff hold the key and are on site until close. Duty mobile:  confirm

Neither unit is registered on The Circuit, so the 999 handler won't direct you to them — this card is the only record. Nearest registered community unit: check defibfinder.uk and write it here — confirm

4. First aid kit

FFL kit, pitchside, same spot every week:  confirm

5. Ambulance route in

B2149 Petersfield Road → right into Bartons Road at the lights by the Heron pub → right into Martin Road at the top of the hill → ground entrance several hundred yards on the right.

Vehicle access to pitchside — gate and keyholder (likely ground staff):  confirm

6. Evacuation & assembly point

Proposed: far end of the main car park, clear of the clubhouse and stands. To be agreed with the club facilities manager:  confirm

7. Hospitals

  • A&E: Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth PO6 3LY — about 6 miles / 15 minutes. A27 westbound towards Portsmouth, exit at Cosham.
